Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lab (“Lab”, “we”, “us”), a catalog of subscription-based software products operated from Nuremberg, Germany. By creating an account or subscribing to any product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

Lab provides access to a curated catalog of software-as-a-service products. Each product is built and operated by the same individual. Subscribing to a product grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use that product for as long as your subscription is active and in good standing.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

3. Subscriptions, pricing, and renewals

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cadence depending on the plan you choose. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the next renewal. Prices are displayed on each product's page and may change with at least 30 days' notice for future billing periods.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time from your account's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer based in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under § 312g BGB. By starting to use a digital subscription product before the 14-day period ends and explicitly consenting to immediate access, you waive this right per § 356 Paragraph 5 BGB. Outside of the statutory withdrawal right, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the service to send spam, malicious content, or to attack third-party systems
• Share, resell, or sublicense access to any product without express written permission
• Interfere with other users' access or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service

6. Intellectual property

Lab and each product within it remain the intellectual property of their creator. Any content you upload or generate while using a product remains your property; you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to provide the service to you.

7. Termination

You may terminate your subscription at any time via the billing portal or by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, prolonged non-payment, or as required by law.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Each product is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind beyond what is required by mandatory consumer protection law. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of any product is limited to the amounts you paid for the affected product in the 12 months preceding the claim. Liability for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health, or from intent or gross negligence, remains unaffected.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via an in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws provisions and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected. The courts of Nuremberg shall have exclusive jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
